Aircraftman 1st Class, 605 Fighter Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. (Hurricane 11). Taken prisoner in Sumatra and died in captivity 29 November 1943. Husband of Kate Earl of Cheltenham. No known grave. Commemorated on the Singapore Memorial, Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore.

Fusilier 5892207, 20th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment). Died in India 29 January 1945. Aged 21. Son of Fred and Elsie Ekins, of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Buried in KIRKEE WAR CEMETERY, India. 8. G. 2.

Corporal, 5th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action by the French during the operations in Madacascar 5-7 May1942. Aged 22. Son of Percy Edward & Florence Elderton; husband of Stella Elderon of Wellingborough. Buried in Diego Suarez War Cemetery

Possibly Private, 1st Battalion, Royal East Kent Regiment. Killed in action in Italy 6 September 1944. Aged 29 No other details given. The only Evans H C in CWGC Data base. Buried in Coriano Ridge War Cemetery, Italy.

(Czechoslovakia) Son of Alfred Ernest and Mary Eyles, of Wellingborough; husband of Hilda Zoe Eyles, of Northampton. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.). Buried in WELLINGBOROUGH (DODDINGTON ROAD) CEMETERY, United Kingdom. Block Q. Grave 420.
