Died 3rd August 1942 at Ann's Pantry, Central Chambers, Wellingborough. Aged 32. Daughter of Joseph H. Gilson, of 15 Stanton Road, Asforby Hill, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire; wife of Robert Harling, of 76 Henshaw Road. A Dornier, being chased by Spitfires, unleashed its bomb load on Wellingborough in the early eveing of the 3rd August 1942, injuring several and killing 6 people. The Dornier was shot down by the Spitfires. See Newspaper Article
