LAW Arthur Henry

Died 4th August 1942 at General Hospital, Wellingborough of injuries sustained on 3rd August 1942 at Market Place. Aged 28. Resident of 225 Canon Street, Leicester. Son of Ada Ellen Line, of 77 Palk Road, Wellingborough. A Dornier, being chased by Spitfires, unleashed its bomb load on Wellingborough in the early eveing of the 3rd August 1942,injuring several and killing 6 peopel. The Dornier was shot down by the Spitfires. See Newspaper Article

Private, 7th Northamptonshire (Wellingborough Town) Battalion, Home Guard. Died 22 August 1942. Aged 18. Son of George Henry and Doris May Lyman, of Wellingborough. Buried in WELLINGBOROUGH (DODDINGTON ROAD) CEMETERY, United Kingdom. Block Q. Grave 392.
