SHEARMAN John [Alfred]

Died 3rd August 1942 at 4 Market Square, Wellingborough. Aged 62. A Dornier, being chased by Spitfires, unleashed its bomb load on Wellingborough in the early eveing of the 3rd August 1942,injuring several and killing 6 people. The Dornier was shot down by the Spitfires. See Newspaper Article
