KIRKHAUGH WAR MEMORIAL

The memorial is located inside, on the north wall, of the Church of Holy Paraclete, Kirkhaugh. It takes the form ogf a white marble plaque on a black pattress, with an overhanging top, slightly domed, beneath which is a laurel wreath carved in half relief. The sculptors were Beattie & Co., Carlisle. A faculty was granted for the Roll of Honour 29 December 1919. There are five names listed of those who gave their lives and fourteen who served and returned.
