The Taiwan
Prisoner of War Memorial Wall
- located in the Taiwan POW Memorial Park on
the site of the former Kinkaseki POW Camp, the 56 foot (17 meter) wall
containing the names of over 4350 Allied POWs who were held in Taiwan
from 1942-45 was dedicated in November 2011

Chijin Area Kaohsiung and dedicated in January 2006
The memorial is dedicated to all those who suffered and those who died
on the notorious “hellships”
in and around Taiwan waters during World War II.
The Taihoku
Prison Memorial
- erected on the wall of the former Taihoku
Prison, Taipei and dedicated in June 2009
The memorial is dedicated to all the Allied airmen who were captured
and held –
and the 14 who were executed, in the Taihoku Prison in World War II
