KNIGHTON (TREFYCLAWDD) WAR MEMORIAL

The war memorial stands in the Town Suare, in ther centre of Trefyclawdd/Knighton. It akes the form of a plain cenotaph on a three stepped base with two dedicatory plaques mounted onto the front face, each plaque has a green border of laurel leaves interwoven with gilt painted ribbons. All the names are inscribed on the one face of the Memorial on the mounted slate plaques. There are 32 names for World War 1 and 16 for World War 2.
