The Brigade of Guards comprised the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards. On Wednesday 5th February 1919 a memorial service was held in St Paul's Cathedral, London, at 2.30 p.m., to commemorate all the men from these regiments that had died during the course of the Great War.
