The SS Gaika was a Union Steamship Company vessel. She was built in 1896 being 6,287 gross tonnes. During the Beor War she was used as a troop transport ship. She was transferred to the Union-Castle Stemship Comapny in 1900 and eventaully scrapped in 1928.
