Private 109156, 1st Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment). Killed in action in France & Flanders 24th April 1918. Aged 18. Born Chirbury, Shropshire. Son of Mrs. Bennett, The Square, Minsterley, Shropshire. Buried in ADELAIDE CEMETERY, VILLERS-BRETONNEUX, Somme, France. Plot II. Row J. Grave 9.
