The memorial stands on the village green at the junction of Church Drive and Siler St, Dyers Close. It btakes the form of a very simple, rough hewn obelisk set in a railed enclosure. There are 13e names for World War 1 and 5 for World War 2. The memorial cost £49 10s to erect and the manufacturers were De Lark Granite Company. In The base and railings were renewed in 1992 after a lorry was in collision with the memorial.
