The memorial
is to be found at Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station, Station Road, Stoke
on Trent. It takes the form of a broad, elliptical, arch of Hollington
Stone spanning the main entrance to the station platforms from the
Booking Hall. The arch is supported on each side by double pillars.
At base of each pillar is a cast bronze plaque bearing the names of
the fallen in raised lettering, the names arranged in five columns
on each. There is a red surround to the list of names and also red
period iron railings in front of each. TYhere is also a note at the
base of one of the pillars referring to research already carried out
with an additional plaque added in 2016. The names listed here is
order of regiment as on the memorial. To find Railwaymen who died
