The
War Memorial can be found in the grounds of the parish church and takes
the form of a stone crucifix on a two stepped block. It was unveiled
14 November 1920 by Sirt Arthur Churchman. The stonemasons were Messrs.
Clary & Wright. Prior to this an old bell had been recast and rehung
a few months earlier as a war memorial. Details of the unveiling appeared
in the East Anglian Daily Times 15th November 1920. There are sevean
World War 1 names and two for World War 2.
