The Flixton War Memorial can be found inside St Mary's parish church and takes the form of a wooden plaque. A second frame in the church lists the men of the village who also served in World War 2.

Able Seaman J/45039, H.M.S. Verulam, Royal Navy. Lost at sea 3rd September 1919. Aged 20. Son of Frederick and Elizabeth Boulton, of Wood Farm, Flixton, Bungay, Suffolk. No known grave. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 32.

Private 41430, 10th Battalion, Essex Regiment. Killed in action 22nd October 1917. Aged 40. Born Margaretting, Essex, enlisted Norwich, resident Bungay. Son of Walter Charles and Lucy Bright; husband of Edith Bright, of Gutters Farm, Broomfield, Chelmsford. Formerly 6673, Cambridgeshire Regiment. No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 98 to 99.

Private 44222, 2nd Battalion, South Wales Borderers. Killed in action 23rd April 1917. Aged 31. Enlisted Chatham, Kent. Son of James and Alice Edwards, of St. Margaret's Rd., Flixton, Bungay, Suffolk. Formerly 180369, Royal Engineers. No known grave. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 6.

[Listed as GOLDBOLD on memorial] Sapper 256059, R.O.D., Royal Engineers. Died in United Kingdom 16th March 1917. Aged 21. Born Flixton, enlisted Mexborough, Yorkshire. Son of George and Ellen Godbold, of Home Farm, Flixton. Buried on the north side of the church in ST MARY'S CHURCHYARD, Flixton.

possibly Henry HAMBLING, Gunner 101873, 225th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of wounds 9th December 1917. Aged 31. Born Laxfield, Suffolk, enlisted Lowestoft, resident Bungay. Son of Japhet and Salome Hambling; husband of Florence Hambling, of Rumburgh St., nr. Halesworth, Suffolk. Buried in MONT HUON MILITARY CEMETERY, LE TREPORT, Seine-Maritime, France. Plot VI. Row C. Grave 4A.
