The Henstead war memorial stands in the burial gounds of the St Mary's parish church and takes the form of a Latin cross mounted on a square base atop a plinth with a two stepped base. It was unveiled 29 fenruary 1920, the architect was William Douglas Caroe (FS) and the builders were Messrs. Clary & Wright. There are 11 names for World War 1 and 3 for World War 2. Details appeared in the Suffolk Chronicle & Mercury 5 March 1920.
