The memorials are to be found in St Mary's Church, High Street, Trimley St Mary. The first takesa the form of plaque and the second a stained glass window. The First World War plaque is made from alabaster with a celtic cross above it and contains 17 names; it was unveiled by Brigadier-General S E Massey-Lloyd and dedicated by the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich on 16th May 1920, details appearing in the East Anglian Daily Times 17th May 1920. The masons were Messrs. Courthorpe & Sons. The Second World War memorial is three light stained glass window depicting Christ surrounded by his disciples. There are 7 names listed for the Second World War; this memorial was deicated by the Venrable C O George on 6th November 1949. The names on the second memorial have as yet to be transcribed.

CLARKE	Cecil Henry	Private G/51828, 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. Died 12/04/1917. Age 19. Son of Nathaniel and Minnie Clarke of 95 Chapel Lane, Walton, Felixstowe. Buried at Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun
CLARKE	Sidney P	Driver 136541, Reinforcements, Royal Engineers. Died 04/07/1916. Born Bramfield. Resident of Walton. Buried at Basra War Cemetery
JOHNSON	Alfred James	Gunner 23187, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 15/12/1918. Age 34. Son of Samuel Edward and Sarah Johnson. Husband of Florence L Johnson of "Larrimore," Station Road, Trimley St Mary. Buried at Trimley St Mary (St Mary) Churchyard. Gunner Johnson’s death is recorded at Woodbridge
LANCASTER	Alfred George	Private G/22249, 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 02/04/1918. Age 37. Husband of Elizabeth Lancaster of Trimley. Buried at Etaples Military Cemetery
LANKESTER	James Herbert	Private 24451, Depot, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died 20/04/1918. Age 22. Son of Jane Lankester of Trimley St Mary and the late Joshua Lankester. Buried at Trimley St Mary (St Mary) Churchyard. Private Lankester’s death is recorded at Northampton
NEWELL	Henry	Driver 169268, 157th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Died 25/02/1919. Age 31. Son of Mr and Mrs Harry Newell of Stratford St Mary, Colchester. Husband of May Helena Newell of 43 Burrell Road, Ipswich. Buried at Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery
RAINBIRD	William Frederick	Private 43901, 9th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 09/10/1916. Age 27. Son of Mrs Eliza Rainbird. Husband of Florence E Rainbird of 12 Star Lane, Ipswich. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial

SMITH	Clement Roy Blackshaw	Second Lieutenant, 3rd Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment – attached 6th Battalion. Died 28/04/1917. Age 19. Son of Clement Charles Smith JP and Jessie Smith of Walton Hall, Felixstowe. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial
SPOONER	Robert Mayhew	Private 329169, 1st/4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 20/11/1917. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial
STRINGER	John	Second Lieutenant, 26th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. Died 07/10/1916. Age 34. Only son of Mr and Mrs J Stringer of "Avondale", Trimley. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial
WOOLNOUGH	George Edward Marwen	Private 35074, 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 28/04/1917. Age 32. Son of Frederick and Clara Woolnough of Levington, Ipswich. Husband of Jessie Woolnough of 1 Kathleen Cottage, Trimley. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial. Private Woolnough is also commemorated on the Levington Memorial
WRIGHT	William Frederick	Gunner 340919, 213th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 30/11/1917. Buried at Menin Road South Military Cemetery
