Arlington is a small rural parish some 9 miles south east of Lewes. The parish church is dedicated to St Pancras. There is a single plaque to a casualty in the village hall.

Private G/6424, 7th (Service) Bn Royal Sussex Regiment. Born about 1897 in Arlington. Son of Harry and Mary Levett of Cane Heath, Arlington. Enlisted in Bexhill. Killed in action 9th April 1918. Commemorated on Panel 46 & 47 of the Pozieres Memorial.
