The Kingston Gorse War Memorial is located in Sea Lane, at the entrance to the Kingston Gorse Estate. The memorial takes the form of a step surmounted by a plinth, a tapering shaft and cross; the whole stands on a concrete base. The inscription is on the horizontal arms of cross and the front face of plinth. There are four names commemorated on the memorial for World War One. They are also commemorated on a plaque inside St Mary’s Church, Vicarage Lane, East Preston, and on the War Memorial located at the front of the library, The Street, East Preston.
