The Kirdford War Memorial with Plaistow consists of two panels inside the APrish Church Lych Gate recording the men of both villages. A brass plate with more details for the Kirdford men can be found inside the Church. The Parish Church of Kirdford (St. John The Baptist) includes the men of the Village of Plaistow two miles to the North of the Parish. Therea re 37 men recorded for World War 1, 24 names for Kirdford with Christian name & rank and 13 names for Plaistow Surnames & initials only. There is also a section for men who fell in World War 2 on the lych gate, there are 14 names which still have to be transcribed and researched here.

Buried in Railway Dugouts (Transport Farm) Cemetery, Belgium 4.
