Private G.49639 23rd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. 33rd Division. Killed in action at Arras 3rd May 1917. Aged 23. Son of Abel & Emma Jane Harber of West Lavington. Born in Ambersham and enlisted in Horsham. Commemorated on The Arras Memorial

Charles Leslie Clement

Second Lieutenant, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. 24th Division. Died of wounds 30th June 1917. Aged 19. Wounded at Messines. Youngest Son of Richard Clement and Kathleen Emma Lucas of Oaklands House, Midhurst. Buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium

Private 5547, 2/6th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. 61st Division. Died of wounds in St. Omer 11th July 1916. Aged 20. Son of George & Beatrice Parker of 6, Carron Lane, Midhurst. Enlisted in Midhurst. Formerly with the Royal Sussex Regiment (2744). Buried in Longuenesse Souvenir Churchyard St. Omer.
