The Memorials for Winterbourne Monkton are located in St Mary Magdalene Church in the village. A brass plaque mounted on a wooden base Commemorates seven Parishioners who died in World War One. A smaller brass plaque mounted on a wooden base Commemorates one Parishioner who died in World War Two.

BALL Charles Ernest
Private 41698. 8th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Died 5th August 1917, aged 19. No known grave. Son of Ernest and Elizabeth Annie Ball, of Winterbourne Monkton. Commemorated at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 22.
BULL Arthur William
Private 3/63. 1st Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. Died 19th June 1917, aged 28. Son of Thomas and Emily Bull, of Winterbourne Monkton. Brother of James Bull (below). Buried at Poperinghe New Military Cemetery, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot II. G. 11.
BULL Frederick Henry
Private 28335. 8th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry. Died 27th April 1918, aged 19. No known grave. Son of Henry and Florence Harriet Bull, of High Street, Avebury, Wiltshire. Commemorated at Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France. Panel 25 and 26.

Private 18662. 2nd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. Died 15th June 1915, aged 28. No known grave. Son of Thomas and Emily Bull, of Winterbourne Monkton. Brother of Arthur William Bull (above). Commemorated at Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 33 and 34.
BURGESS Arthur Henry
Private 10317. 3rd Battalion, Coldstream Guards. Died 1st September 1914, aged 23. Son of George and Elizabeth Burgess, of Winterbourne Monkton. Buried at Guards Grave, Villers, Cotterets Forest, Aisne, France. Plot I. 20.
PEAK-GARLAND George
Lieutenant. "D" Company, 11th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Died 7th June 1917, aged 30. Born in Lewannick, Cornwall. Son of James and Jane Peak-Garland, of Manor Farm, Avebury, Wiltshire. Buried at La Laiterie Military Cemetery, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot II. AA. 2.
ROGERS Francis Alfred Charles
Private 10827. 1st Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. Died 17th May 1916, aged 28. Son of William and Emily Jane Rogers, of High Street, Avebury, Wiltshire. Buried at Ecoivres Military Cemetery, Mont-St Eloi, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. M. 10.
