There are memorials to the men from Upton Upon Severn who fell in both wars on plaques in the memorial hall and also in the church of Saints Peter & Paul. The names are the same mostly but extra names from the church are denoted thus † and from the memorial hall *. Their are four brass panels on the outside wall at the front of Memorial Hall and two wooden boards within the church. The men are listed by name and initial in the memorial hall but by full name in the church.

BAKER	Reginald Charles	Private 4986, 5th Dragoon Guards (Princess Charlotte of Wales's). Killed in action 10 April 1917. Aged 34. Born Hanley, Malvern, enlisted Malvern, resident The Hook Bank, Hanley Castle. Son of Charles and Louisa Baker, of Westfelds, Welland, Malvern, Worcs. Disembarked 15 August 1914. Buried in FAMPOUX BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot/Row/Section B. Grave 48. Also remembered on The Hook Memorial
BIDDLE	Percy James	Private 8301, 1st Battalion, Princess Charlotte of Wales's (Royal berkshire Regiment). Killed in action 16 May 1915. Aged 25. Born and resident Kingswinford, Staffordshire, enlisted Abingdon. Son of John and Mary Biddle, of Loch Cottage, Kinver, Staffs. No known grave. Commemorated on LE TOURET MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 30. Notice from the Upton upon Severn News: Pte Percy James Biddle, 1st Royal Berks, eldest son of Mr John Biddle, of Kinver, Stourbridge (formerly of Upton-on-Severn) and grandson of Mr John Biddle, of the Bridge House, Upton-on-Severn, was killed in action in France on May 16th.

Son of Mrs. Ellen Bridges, of New St., Upton-on-Severn, Worcs. Buried in ALEXANDRIA (CHATBY) MILITARY AND WAR MEMORIAL CEMETERY, Egypt. Grave B. 77.
CRIDGE †	John Wendon	Born 1896 in Heavitree, Devon. In May 1919 John died in Upton upon Severn and his obituary appeared in the in the Upton News as follows: “The deceased, who had been in the Mercantile Service for about seven years, was fairly well-known in the district, where he repeatedly came on a visit to his relatives. He was engaged at the outset of the war in Indian waters, but later HM. Transport ‘Trafford Hall’, which was specially mentioned for her services, was transferred to German East Africa, where deceased saw two years service and where he contracted the complaint from which he died.” Buried in Upton upon Severn cemetery. No gravestone (Upton Town Council are arranging for a wooden cross).
