St Nicholas Church is located on the corner of St Nicholas Street and The Cross at the heart of the shopping area. The building is now the RSVP Café-Bar. The war memorial was moved to All Saints Church, Deansway, Worcester when the church closed. It consists of a wooden plaque inscribed with the names of those who gave their lives in WW2.

Stoker 2nd Class, Royal Navy H.M.S. Grenade. Service No C/KX 100656. Died aged 22 on 29th May 1940. Son of Bertram James and Annie Eva Brooks; husband of Mabel Edna Brooks, of Worcester. Chatham Naval Memorial 38, 3.

Flight Sergeant (Air Gunner), Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Service No 969071. Died aged 25 on 26th May 1942. Son of Christopher Ainley Charles and Nora Doris Whitehead, of Worcester; husband of Vera May Whitehead, of Broomhall, Worcester. Worcester (Astwood) Cemetery Grave 26304.
