Corporal 551104, Cavalry Brigade. Machine Gun Squadron, Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Died 2nd November 1918. Aged 28. Son of John Bowman Bainbridge and Mary Bainbridge, of York, England. Buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, France, LXXI. A. 5.  Arthur Bainbridge was born on 16th June 1890. He enlisted in Winnipeg in January 1916 and gave his occupation as a farmer. He was described as being 5ft 9 inches, with fair hair and blue eyes. Also commemorated on the Acomb War Memorial.

Son of Elizabeth Clarkson, of 14, Raleigh St., Scarborough; and the late Samuel Clarkson. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France, Pier and Face 1 A. Sub-Lieutenant Clarkson was awarded the Military Cross.
