Denby Dale is a village and civil parish in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees in West Yorkshire. The war memorial is in Wakefield Road, Denby Dale in a small garden through the public car park. It takes the form of a heagonal base mouthed with a shaft and wheel cross. It covers the urban districts of Denby and Cumberworth. There are 44 names for World War 1 and 11 for World War 2.
