The
memorial is located in Upleatham, Cleveland. It takes the form of a
marble column with a two-stepped stone base. The column tapers at the
top an on it is mounted an urn. The column bears the names of 23 men
from World War 1, the top three having given their lives, the other
20 served, and 1 from World War 2.
