possibly George Vevers BANNISTER, Private 5397, 64th Brigade, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Killed in action 1st July 1916 in France & Flanders. Born Newton-in-Bowland, Yorkshire, enlisted Keighley. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 5 C and 12 C.

BLACK Roy [Ernest]

Private 99156, 326th Field Ambulance, Royal Army medical Corps. Died in England 10th October 1918. Born Newmarket, Suffolk, enlisted Keighley, resident Waddington. No known grave. Commemorated on HOLLYBROOK MEMORIAL, SOUTHAMPTON, Hampshire.

BROTHERTON Richard

Private 51968, 9th Battalion, Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment). Died 23rd November 1918 in France & Flanders. Aged 20. Born and resident Clitheroe, enlisted Halifax. Buried in GREVILLERS BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot XVIII. Row A. Grave 24.

Private 17874, 10th Battalion, Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment). Died of wounds 7th June 1917 in France & Flanders. Aged 20. Born Waddington, enlisted Skipton, resident Clitheroe. Son of Robert and Alice Ann Brown, of 92, Waddington, Clitheroe, Lancs. Buried in WOODS CEMETERY, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot III. Row E. Grave 16.
