Korea Map of Operations Area

This database contains details of British casualties, either dead or wounded, prisoners of war and VC winners. The details are drawn from the war graves in Korea (originally Korean War Graves Database now included in Veterans Database) and lists published by The Times newspaper during the war (this is accessible on-line through most UK libraries although you may need a reader's ticket). Also from Korea 1950-1953 Prisoners of War The British Army by Peter Gaston. Other details drawn from war memorials and local newspapers and other written sources have been included as they have been found. The details have been collated into a single, searchable entries, within the database, wherever possible. This does not mean that there are not anomalies, that entries have not been duplicate or that the information here is 100% accurate, please let us know if you have facts we have wrong or not available.
