BAIRD	William	Private 3205298, 10th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment). Died 5 October 1918. Born 7 December 1887 in Ayr. Son of William Baird. Farm Labourer by trade. Unmarried. Enlisted Calgary 7 November 1917, passed fit 4 January 1918. Presbyterian. Height 5 feet 7½ inches, girth 33½ inches, complexion fair, eyes blue, hair redish brown. BLACK	Robert	Corporal 16629, 8th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers. Died in the Balkans 6 August 1916. Born and resident Whitletts, enlisted Ayr. Buried in SALONIKA (LEMBET ROAD) MILITARY CEMETERY, Greece. Grave 299.
BLACKWOOD	Frank	Acting Lance Corporal 332218, "D" Company, 9th (Glasgow Highland)(Territorial) Battalion, Highland Light Infantry. Killed in action 11 January 1918. Aged 23. Born Edinburgh, enlisted Glasgow, resident Whiteletts. Son of Rosamond Blackwood, of Low Rd., Whitletts, Ayr, and the late John Blackwood. No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 131 to 132.

CUMMING	William Francis	Corporal 40964, 1st battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers formerly Ayrshire Yeomanry. Killed in action 5 June 1917. Aged 25. Born Kircubbin, Co. Down, enlisted Ayr, resident Greyabbey, Newtonards, Co. Down. Son of John Cumming, of Greyabbey, Co. Down. No known grave. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMROIAl, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 5.
