The
memorial is to be found within St. Mary's Church, Wavendon Road, Salford,
Bedfordshire. There is a tablet in the shape of scroll and framed Roll
of Honour. The lych gate to St Mary's church is dedicated to the men
who fell from the village although the actual memorial is on the wall
inside the church itself in the form of a scroll. Either side of the
memorial are, on the left, The Roll of Service for 1914-1918 and a list
of Rectors of the Church on the right. There are nine names listed of
those who died in World War 1 and one name for World War 2. There are
37 names listed for World War 1 on the Roll of Honour including those
who fell.
