
MAIDS MORETON WAR MEMORIAL
World War 1 and 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information

The
war memorial is situated on the nave wall inside the church of St Edmund,
Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire and consists of four stone tablets inset
into the wall. It was made by W.A. Forsyth of Oxford Street, London
and Messrs Coles of Brackly, Northamptonshire and was dedicated and
unveiled by the Bishop of Buckingham 30 June 1921. There are 12 names
listed for World War 1 and 4 names for World War 2.

to Wales. Became a Fireman and was a Gardener in Llandegai, near
