WHITING Athur Lieutenant, H.M.M.L. "No. 403.", Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Died Thursday 22nd August 1918. Age 32. Son of the late Henry William Whiting, of Newport Pagnell, Bucks; brother of H. Whiting of Wavendon, Bletchley, Bucks. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 31.
RICHARDSON Percy R Lance Corporal 23639, 2nd Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action Friday 30th August 1918. Age 24. Born and resident Willen, enlisted Ampthill, Beds. Son of Walter and Sarah A. Richardson, of Willen, Newport Pagnell, Bucks. Commemorated on VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 4 and 5
HOLMAN Frederick Charles Private 75330, Lewis Gun Section "D" Battalion, Tank Corps. Died of wounds Monday 29th April 1918. Age 22. Born Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, enlisted Birmingham. Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Holman, of Willen. Newport Pagnell, Bucks. Buried in EBBLINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY, Nord, France. Grave I. D. 36.
