The
Great Wilbraham & Little Wibraham War Memoria is located in St Nicholas's
Church, Great Wibraham. It takes the form of a painted, wooden alcove.
There is a central panel depicting George slaying a dragon. The panels
either side list the names of those who died. There is also a complete
roll of honour to all the men who served in the Memorial Hall and
also a further memorial in Little
Wilbraham, St John's church.

William Stubbings, of the Suffolk Regiment, is missing. He is believed
to have been taken prisoner November I3th. Another son, Sergt. Fred
Stubbings, of the Bedfords, has been awarded the Military Medal
for bravery on the battlefield. |
