Outside the Exter cathedral at the top of the steps leading down to the cathedral from the town on Cathedral Green is the general county war memorial commemorating World War 1 and World War 2. It takes the form of a large, stone, cross atop the stone, triered plinth with a stepped base and the inscription carved int to the stone of ther plinth. here are no names listed.
