The
Exeter Post Office War memorial has been lost but did reside in Exeter
Post Office, High Street, Exeter. It was an ornate, concave headed,
wooden board, with the inscription carved in relief and the coat of
arms also carved intot he top of the board; further ornate foliate carvings
were placed on either side of the beginning of the list of names with
two crossed palm branches carved in relief at the bottom of the board
with a dove of peace below them. There are 14 names listed
