BULMER
WAR MEMORIAL
World
War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and copyright © Martin Edwards 2014
This
Memorial stands in the grounds of the St Andrew's Church, Bulmer, Essex.
It takes the form of a tall, very plain, Latin cross on a cruciform
platform. There are 18 names listed for World War 1 and 4 for World
War 2. The memorial was deemed as listing in 1994 but since then it
seems it is no longer listing and has ben cleaned up. In the church
is also a hand lettered, glazed and framed Roll of Honour. It does not
appear that all the names on the memorial are included on the Rollf
of Honour; those that are are highlighted and are marked with a poppy
on the Roll of Honour.
