In the 1939 Register he was a Police Constable (Regular Force), resident 207 Westborough Road, Southend-On-Sea, Southend-On-Sea C.B., Essex. Buried in ARNHEM OOSTERBEEK WAR CEMETERY, Gelderland, Netherlands. Plot 18. Row A. Grave 15.
