This memorial can be found at Doctors Pool (a small patch of common) in the village of Staunton on Wye. It commemorates those who died in both world wars. It takes the form of a plain column surmounted by an orb standing on a rough-hewn, square, plinth with the commemoration on metal plates attached to three sides of this; the whole stands in a paved area. There are fourteen names listed for World War 1 and four for World War 2. The names here have been sorted into alphabetical order withn conflict for ease of reading and research.
