son of Alfred and Sarah Ann Impey. Brother of Mrs C. Sinclair. Awarded
the China Medal 1900 without clasp (serving with HMS Undaunted)
issued 22 June 1902; Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct
Medal 3 October 1915; enlisted 9 March 1896; with Deal Battalion
at Dunkirk & Defence of Antwerp 1914; with the Mesopotamian
Expeditionary Force 2 February 1915 until his death. Buried in MALTA
(CAPUCCINI) NAVAL CEMETERY, Malta. Protestant Grave 258. |
