The
memorial is a Bronze plaque with raised lettering, on a cairn at Cleadale,
Isle of Eigg, Inverness-shire. Those killed and those who served and
survived are listed in turn in (approximately) alphabetical order. There
are 11 names for World War 1 8 of who served and returned and 3 who
gave their lives; for World War 2 there are 29 names, 26 who served
and returned and 3 who gave their lives. The memorial was unveiled in
2006.
