Two Burmarsh casualties are commemorated on a screen erected in their memory in the parish church of All Saints. This screen divides the chancel from the nave.

Private L/6554 Simeon BEALE. 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 25th October 1914. Born New Romney. Enlisted Lydd. Resided Burmarsh.

Roland Glover

Private TF/241550, 3/8TH Battalion, Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment). Died 21st August 1917 aged 31 years. Born Deal. Enlisted Hythe, Kent. His name appears on the nearby Lympne war memorial.
