Two Burmarsh casualties are commemorated on a screen erected in their memory in the parish church of All Saints. This screen divides the chancel from the nave.

THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918

BEALES	Simeon	Private L/6554 Simeon BEALE. 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 25th October 1914. Born New Romney. Enlisted Lydd. Resided Burmarsh.
BUTCHER	Albert Henry	[Llisted as A E BUTCHER on memorial] Private L/6554 Simeon BEALE. 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 25th October 1914. Born New Romney. Enlisted Lydd. Resided Burmarsh
Buried in churchyard but not on memorial
WRATTEN	Roland Glover	Private TF/241550, 3/8TH Battalion, Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment). Died 21st August 1917 aged 31 years. Born Deal. Enlisted Hythe, Kent. His name appears on the nearby Lympne war memorial.
