IZZARD Edgar
Edgar was a Private (#G/11805) with the 8th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment who died at age 21 in France September 5, 1916. He is recorded at the Heilly Station Cemetery Mericourt-L'abbe, France (IV. A. 16). He was the son of Herbert and Helen Annie Izzard of Bishop's Down, Tunbridge Wells. Edgar had been born at St John's Tunbridge Wells and enlisted for service at Tunbridge Wells.
