He was the son of George Henry and Edith Ashby of Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells and the husband of Nellie Margaret Ashby of Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells.

Horace was a Corporal (#1294812) with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He died at age 37 on November 17, 1945. He was buried in the Tunbridge Wells Cemetery (Row D. Grave 3). He was the son of Horace William 91876-1937) and Margaret Amelia Athhill (nee Scadeng 1874-1928) of Tunbridge Wells. He was born June 1911 at Camberwell, Surrey. He was married September 1938 at Deptford.

Donovan was a Private (#6095476) with The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey), 2nd Battalion, who at the age of 25 died in Egypt June 23, 1941. He is recorded at the Alamein Memorial (Column 231 (Syria)). He was the son of Charles and Mabel Auld of Tunbridge Wells and the husband of Hilda M. Auld of Tunbridge Wells. He had been residing in Tunbridge Wells at 79 Stephen's Road.

Arthur was a Private (#13001811) with the Pioneer Corps, 53 Company, Auxiliary Military, who at age 42 died in France June 17, 1940. He is recorded at the Dunkirk Memorial (Column 149). He was the son of Samuel and Eliza Avis and the husband of Dorothy Avis of Tunbridge Wells. He had been a resident of 33 York Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Frederick was a Lance Corporal (#14582410) with the Coldstream Guards, 2nd Battalion, who at the age of 20 died in Italy April 18, 1945. He is recorded at the Argenta Gap War Cemetery (IV. A. 19). He was the son of Arthur Edward and Florence Caroline Ayres of Tunbridge Wells. He had been a resident of 77 Silverdale Road, Tunbridge Wells.
