NICHOLLS Henry
Sergeant probably Sergeant 241471, 10th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. Killed in action 15 May 1917. Enlisted Rochdale, Lancashire. In the 1891 census he was newborn, born Harpurhey, son of Adam and Ann M Needham, resident Hilton Street, Manchester, Lancashire. In the 1901 census he was aged 10, born Harpurhey, son of Adam and Annie Maria Needham, resident 10, Hilton Street, Manchester, Lancashire. In the 1911 census he was aged 20, born Manchester, a Warehouse Porter, son of Anna Maria Needham, resident 26 Brewery Street Harpushey Manchester, North Manchester, Lancashire. No known grave. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 5.
