enlisted and resident Blackpool. Son of Georgina Irving, of 4, Poplar
Street, Blackpool, and the late Peter Jackson Irving. Attested 30
November 1914 at Blackpool, aged 17, resident 4 Poplar Street, Blackpool,
enlisted as Private 3428, 7th Battalion, Liverpool Regiment. Embarked
France 16 July 1916. Height 5 feet 9 inches, chest 35½ inches,
weight 133lbs. Electrician by trade. No known grave. Commemorated
on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 1 D 8 B and 8
