Bispham, Blackpool. Born 31 October 1892. A Teamster by trade. Attested
2at Helena Vale, Western Australia, 6 August 1914, aged 22 years
10 months, height 5 feet 7 inches, weight 145lbs, chest 34 inches,
fair complexion, green to grey eyes, bornw hair, religious denomination
Church of England. Embarked aboard HMAT Medic A7 from Fremantle
on 31 October 1914 and anchored for two days before sailing on 2
November 1914. Suffered with dysentery and admitted to Cairo Military
Hospital 7 May 1915, discharged 20 May 1915. Buried in LONE PINE
CEMETERY, ANZAC, Turkey (including Gallipoli). Plot I. Row G. Grave
