There
Barrow on Humber and Barrow Haven memorial stands in the gounds of Holy
Trinity Church, Barrow on Humber. The memorial takes the form of a base
surmounted by plinth, tapered shaft and Celtic cross with an inscription
on the front face of the cross. A Celtic knotwork design, with sword
on the centre of it, is carved on the front face of the cross. The memorial
contains 38 names from World War 1 and 11 from World War 2. The original
memorial was unveiled by Lieutenant-Colonel Harold Graham Wilson, and
dedicated by the Bishop of Lincoln, 2nd July 1921. Details appeared
in the Lincolnshire Star 9th July 1921.
