The memorial takes the form of a stone obelisk, square at the base and surmounted by a spire with a cross, stands in a small garden at the junction of Dixon Street and Boultham Park Road in the south of Lincoln. Those killed in both World War 1 and World War 2 are listed. The lettering of the World War 1 names is badly eroded, and some of the initials given may be incorrect, in particular C and G may be interchanged.
