The
Claypole memorials can be found within the church of St Peter, Main
Street, Claypole. The World War 1 memorial is a wall mounted tablet
with an arched upper edge within which is an engraved Latin cross.
The inscription is on a sunken panel. The tablet is mounted on a piece
of slate. It contains 5 names. The World War 2 tablet takes exactly
the same form and contains 7 names.
