The East Kirkby memorial stands at the roadside on a street corner of the A115 in East Kirkby and takes the form of a small wheel cross on elaborate gabled pillar and an octagonal two-stepped base; the whole is enclosed by a brick wall with fleur-de-lys railings.. There are 19 names who served and 8 who died in World War 1 and 2 names of those who died in World War 2.

Son of William and Maria Blackbourn of Hagnaby, husband of Elizabeth Ellen Blackbourn and father of Elsie Ellen Blackbourn of East Kirkby, Lincs. Born East Kirkby, enlisted Spilsby and resident East Kirkby, Lincs. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL. Panel 35 to 37 and 162 to 162A.
